Statement by Pinewood MP, the Hon. Byran Woodside:

My fellow Bahamians, as you are aware, today the Court ruled that I, Byran Shelton Woodside, am the Member of Parliament for the great constituency of Pinewood, and while I am very pleased with the end result, I am quite aware that the process could have ended in a different way.
And so I say, “To God Be The Glory”, for He continues to work out His purpose in my life.
I wish to thank my legal team, ably led by Attorney Michael Barnett, the good people of Pinewood for their ongoing prayers and support, and Bahamians everywhere who have been praying for me over the last four months.
We have a lot to do as we continue to build our Bahamas, and with this behind me, I plan to move ahead with continuing making my contribution at the constituency, party and national levels.
I call on the people of Pinewood, PLPs, FNMs, CDRs, Undecided - Saxons, Valley, One Family, Roots, Prodigal Sons, Music Makers, Sting, Pigs – EVERYONE . This is now a time for healing and for moving forward.
Let’s work together to make Pinewood and The Commonwealth of The Bahamas all it can be.
