Pinewood Donates to Cleveland Eneas Primary

Thanks to a donation of $30,000 from The Pinewood Constituency Allowance Programme, Cleveland Eneas Primary School students started this school year with five new SMART Boards, a LCD projector, and computer equipment. SMART Boards are the world's leading easy-to-use interactive whiteboards that combine the simplicity of a ordinary whiteboard with the power of a computer.
The Government's Constituency Allowance Programme allocates $100,000 to each Constituency for Members of Parliament to use for Constituency projects
According to The Hon. Byran Woodside, Pinewood's Member of Parliament , this new technology exposes the children of Pinewood to the technology currently being used globally in education.
"We are pleased to be able to contribute to improving the technology that is important for continued development of the children of Pinewood", said Minister Woodside.
Recently The Hon. Byran Woodside and members of the Pinewood FNM Association visited Cleveland Primary School as part of the Association's annual back to school initiative. During the visit Minister Woodside continued his tradition of donating computers, books and school supplies to the students.
